Free alternatives, interface recreations, game and engine reimplementations, source reconstructions, and clearly identified functional alternatives. An alternative does not imply a copy or reverse engineering of the original.
Evidence comes first
Project identity, original relationship, repository license and an experience path need primary sources. Visible source alone is not open source. Closed-source projects may be included with clear labeling. Free access does not imply open source or free original assets. AI / REA labels require author or official process evidence; product features and repository configuration do not establish authorship.
Code and assets have different rights
Open-source game code does not grant redistribution rights for original images, music, data or trademarks. Entries clearly identify original-data requirements. Obtain these files lawfully. We do not distribute cracked packages or imply official endorsement.
