What it recreates
Adapts the existing native port to Windows, including calling conventions, graphics, sound, movies and crash fixes. It is an unofficial fan project.
What’s different
Adds configurable frame rates, widescreen, keyboard and controller remapping, portable saves and local mod loading.
What you can use today
v1.0.19 provides a Windows ZIP. Linux is a documented source-build route; this fork has no verified macOS build. The author reports a playthrough on particular Windows hardware, while higher frame rates and some AMD graphics issues remain open. The upstream decompilation and Mac code were published without licenses, so the whole project cannot be called MIT or open source.
