DOAXVB Native PC Port — Author-provided interface screenshot

An unofficial native port of Dead or Alive Xtreme Beach Volleyball built locally from your own USA Xbox disc. The recommended v0.6.0 beta has a new launcher, desktop packages and remaining rendering faults.

File requirements

Provide your own supported USA Xbox disc image; setup validates and generates game code locally. Mac/Linux also require the documented build tools; Steam Deck builds use a container with a compiler. Generated game content and original artwork remain outside the project’s GPL-3.0-or-later grant.

What it recreates

Statically recompiles your own Xbox game and supplies a native runtime for modern computers.

What’s different

Adds display controls, local saves and controller support. v0.6.0 adds a new build launcher, free camera/model viewer and optional Direct3D 11 sun shadows and lighting; whole-game 120 Hz remains experimental.

What you can use today

v0.6.0 replaces v0.5.3 as the author’s recommended beta and offers Windows, Mac and Linux ZIPs. Each builds from your own disc; extract into a new folder and rebuild because the recipe changed, then copy your previous private saves. Windows setup now downloads llvm-mingw instead of requiring Visual Studio. v0.6.0 itself has not had a full author play session. Windows and Linux ZIP build checks are documented, but the Mac ZIP was not built on a Mac; launcher controller checks used a virtual gamepad. Shore flicker and pool-transition faults remain. Mac/Linux lack some fog, lights and shadows; the ray-traced GI option has no effect in release builds. RemakeList has not built or played it.
