What it recreates

It covers the 2D-animation and motion-graphics side of After Effects-style work: arranging layers, keyframes and timelines to animate vector and raster artwork.

What’s different

Built on enve, it offers multiple scenes and timelines, ECMAScript expressions, and SVG animation for the web. Its scope is concentrated on 2D creation.

What you can use today

Downloads are listed for Windows, Linux and macOS. It can create 2D animation and motion graphics; custom shader effects remain experimental, and After Effects projects, plugins or complete effects chains are not promised to be compatible.
