File requirements
Supply your own lawfully obtained retail Xbox 360 Gears of War 2 (title ID 4D53082D) ISO, or a complete folder with default.xex and GearGame. Initial ISO extraction on Windows needs about 8 GB. Android import copies the data into app storage and needs room for another complete copy. RemakeList supplies no game data.

What it recreates
Uses the ReXGlue SDK to statically recompile the retail Xbox 360 game executable; running it still requires the player’s own original game data.
What’s different
Adds high-resolution rendering, mouse-and-keyboard controls and graphics settings, plus split-screen, System Link co-op and experimental internet play. Voice and subtitle languages can be selected separately.
What you can use today
v0.3.11 supplies Windows x64 and experimental Android ARM64 packages. The PC update checker retains its state and skipped-version choice; Android changes only the package version. Earlier 0.3.10 Android changes and the frame counter remain untested on phones. Only Act 1 has an author-reported full playthrough; chapter sweeps do not verify Acts 2–5. Heat affects Android performance. Three/four-player co-op and internet play retain untested scenarios and require matching releases. AMD smearing has an Emulated EDRAM fallback; Vega menu-text and Proton D3D12 faults remain. Windows files are unsigned; author scan claims are not a security certification. RemakeList has not built, installed or played it.
