File requirements

Supply your own decrypted PS4 CUSA00223 USA base game 1.00 merged with update 1.07, about 33 GB. Requires AVX, Vulkan 1.3 and preferably 6 GB VRAM. No console firmware file is required for audio; game files are not included.

What it recreates

Runs the original PS4 x86-64 program with replacement system services and Vulkan graphics translation; it does not emulate the CPU.

What’s different

Adds desktop controls and graphics settings. Stable v1.0 focuses on renderer-v2 stability and VRAM use. The separate beta-rc1 adds temporal upscaling, direct mouse aiming, ultrawide and controller changes; these are beta features.

What you can use today

v1.0 remains the recommended stable download for Linux x86-64 (glibc 2.39+) and Windows 10/11 x64. beta-rc1 is a separately downloadable prerelease on the same platforms, not the stable replacement. Frame rate and graphics remain uneven. Windows RX 580/Polaris compatibility is experimental. beta-rc1 lists black ground textures with upscaling, soft FSR at 3x and untested Linux upscaling; the launcher does not offer betas as normal updates. RemakeList has not installed or played either build.
