What it recreates
Translates the N64 MIPS program to C with N64Recomp, using N64ModernRuntime, RT64 and RecompFrontend. It is a community port; original game rights remain separate.
What’s different
Adds 30/60 FPS choices, high-resolution widescreen, mouse aim and remappable controls. Developer options can select levels and load edited level data.
What you can use today
v0.1.0 offers Linux x64 AppImage and tar.gz builds based on Ubuntu 22.04; Vulkan and glibc 2.35+ are required. The author reports all 20 levels load and play but has not verified full playthroughs. There is no Windows or macOS package. RemakeList has not installed or played it. The 60 FPS option is not a performance guarantee for every device.
