File requirements

Supply a lawfully obtained decrypted PS4 package: USA CUSA05083 base 1.00, Japan CUSA01290 base 1.00 or its 1.02 update, or Europe CUSA05262 base 1.00 or its 1.01 update. Updates require their matching regional base. Console-encrypted or other builds are refused; no game files or keys are supplied.

What it recreates

Executes the original PS4 x86-64 code with replacement platform libraries and a shadPS4-derived Vulkan renderer. This is a platform-compatibility port, not a static CPU recompilation, and is unaffiliated with Vanillaware, Atlus, SEGA or Sony.

What’s different

Adds a TRG launcher for package installation, rendering up to 4K, FSR 1/RCAS, SMAA, remappable keyboard controls, Xbox prompts and local trophies. European builds expose menu/subtitle language selection.

What you can use today

v0.1.0 is the first public release, with a Windows x64 ZIP and experimental Linux x86-64 AppImage. Import your own decrypted supported PS4 .pkg in the launcher's Play page. Both routes need Vulkan 1.3 and the specified extensions, with about 4 GB disk space; Linux needs glibc 2.31+ and X11/Wayland. Only 16:9 Original preserves the intended shape: ultrawide ratios stretch gameplay rather than reveal more of the world, and other ratios squeeze it; HUD, menus and videos are not adjusted. Linux/Steam Deck builds passed scripted checks but have not been tested on real hardware. Downloads are unsigned; trophies are local, with no PSN or online play.
