File requirements
Supply lawfully obtained Metroid Prime Remastered v1.0.0 Switch files without updates, extracted into exefs and romfs folders. No original game data is included.
Based on public documentation; full builds and playthroughs have not been tested. Project documentation 
What it recreates
Builds on LAS Recomp to translate Switch game code for the PC and replace system and graphics services. It is an unofficial project, not affiliated with Nintendo.
What’s different
Adds desktop mouse controls and configurable rendering while retaining the original game data. The setup recompiles locally from the supplied files.
What you can use today
v0.0.4 supplies Windows ZIP, Linux AppImage and Apple silicon Mac DMG downloads. GPU ASTC decoding and fewer lighting uploads reduce door-transition stalls in the author’s measured scene. Setup compiles locally from your own extracted Metroid Prime Remastered 1.0.0 files. Windows/Linux require AVX2 and Vulkan 1.3; Linux needs glibc 2.35+. Visual faults remain, and areas beyond Magmoor Caverns are untested and may crash or freeze. Steam Deck measurements cover specific scenes, not the full game. Mac is unnotarized and initial shader stutters remain. RemakeList has not built, installed or played it.
