What it recreates
Builds on the human-led recvx-decomp project, compiling its game/platform code for PC while emulating PS2 hardware boundaries. It is an unofficial project independent of Capcom and Sony.
What’s different
Adds online or local two-player co-op, third-person controls, enemy/item randomizers, model swaps and compatible PCSX2 HD texture packs.
What you can use today
v0.6.10 is a prerelease with Windows x86 and Linux i686 game packages plus a separate Linux x86_64 co-op server. Linux requires glibc 2.34+ and 32-bit graphics/audio libraries; both clients need OpenGL 3.3. Cutscene model swapping remains an early implementation, and co-op/mod combinations may have bugs.
