v1.0.20-rc0 accepts your own File #1 NTSC-U v2.00 ISO (SLUS-20765) or experimental File #2 NTSC-U v1.05 (SLUS-20984). The stable v1.0.19 supports File #1 only. Keep the ISO and the release’s build-inputs ZIPs for local compilation. PAL, Japanese, modified or other revisions are unsupported; no game data or PS2 BIOS is supplied.

What it recreates

Combines PS2 static recompilation with a replacement runtime and Windows launcher. The fork is unofficial and unaffiliated with Capcom or Sony.

What’s different

Adds modern display settings, controller remapping, a seeded randomizer and author-described four-player co-op.

What you can use today

v1.0.20-rc0 is a release candidate with a portable Windows launcher, bundled .NET runtime and automatic compiler setup. It builds locally from your File #1 NTSC-U v2.00 or experimental File #2 NTSC-U v1.05 disc. v1.0.19 remains the stable File #1 release. RC0 automatically copies prior launcher data, caches, settings and saves when using a new data folder. Back up saves and follow the release’s clean-install guidance before opening a fresh extract. File #2 is experimental; RC support is not a stable-version claim.
