File requirements
Running from source requires the author's separately supplied rich4-assets.tar. It contains material derived from the original game, high-resolution redraws, maps and sounds. These assets are excluded from GPL and restricted by the author to private use. Packaging scripts bundle assets into the apps, but release package contents were not independently inspected. Do not treat a free download as permission to redistribute the artwork or original game material.

What it recreates
Reimplements Richman 4's rules using research into the original executable, with a TypeScript game, Electron desktop shell and Capacitor mobile apps. No official affiliation or authorization from the original rights holder was established.
What’s different
Adds high-resolution redraws, a five-city 12-player mode and a Kabukicho map. Online party mode supports up to eight players with computer-controlled replacements.
What you can use today
v0.8.1 supplies Windows ZIP, universal Mac DMG, Android APK and unsigned iOS IPA downloads. Party hosts can set shared starting funds, movement, land permissions, time limits and victory rules; the mobile landscape lobby can scroll so its start button stays reachable. iOS needs self-signing; Windows is unsigned and Mac unnotarized. Original-derived assets and redraws are outside GPL, and the author’s private-use statement does not establish the rights holder’s authorization. Release contents and signatures were not independently inspected. RemakeList has not built, installed or played this release.
