File requirements
Provide NUKEM2.CMP from a Duke Nukem II installation. Registered data is needed for the full four-episode game; shareware covers limited content. NUKEM2.F1 through NUKEM2.F5 add optional intro movies. On first launch, select the game-data folder. The official README links a shareware archive and a licensed full-game seller; no original data is included by RemakeList.

What it recreates
Reimplements the 1993 DOS game using reverse engineering and reads its original data in place of the DOS executable.
What’s different
Keeps the original game while adding optional modern display and control features. The project is in maintenance mode, with major bug fixes rather than planned new features.
What you can use today
Official 0.9.1 packages include Windows x64 ZIP, macOS x64 DMG and Linux x64 DEBs. The release points Apple silicon users to a separate third-party universal Mac build. The README marks its web build as currently unavailable. Not run by RemakeList.
