What it recreates
Statically recompiles the Xbox 360 version of Need for Speed: Most Wanted (2005) to native code, with a first-run installer that checks and imports your own disc image locally.
What’s different
Adds widescreen, two-player split screen, graphics/scaling controls and local disc import. v0.2.0 adds the European PAL Spanish disc and Smooth Motion on supported Mac and Linux/SteamOS displays.
What you can use today
The main v0.2.0 release provides SteamOS/Linux x86-64, Steam Frame ARM64, Apple silicon Mac and an experimental iOS IPA. Windows uses the separate v0.2.0-windows-beta.2 prerelease; no Android build is available. The two SteamOS architectures are not interchangeable. The author tested the Windows beta on limited Intel integrated-graphics hardware. The iOS IPA attachment itself has not been installed on a device; author testing used Xcode-signed builds, and sideload entitlements or memory limits can prevent running. The Mac app is not notarized; macOS 15 was tested only in a VM. Steam Frame presents a flat screen, not VR; the ARM64 package is untested on other Linux devices. Set Steam Deck OLED to 60 Hz; the LCD model is untested. No universal frame rate is promised. RemakeList has not run it.
