SquirrelPad — Author-provided interface screenshot

Brings Conker’s Bad Fur Day to iPhone and iPad with touch controls and Metal rendering. This experimental alpha needs a Mac, Xcode and your ROM for a personal build; the gameplay cover is a Simulator capture.

Own supported US 64 MiB Conker ROM; personal IPA contains translated code and must not be shared.

Based on public documentation; full builds and playthroughs have not been tested. Project documentation

What it recreates

Adapts CBFD-Recompiled’s static recompilation of Conker’s Bad Fur Day to iPhone and iPad, adding Apple mobile integration and an RT64 Metal renderer.

What’s different

Adds editable touch layouts, controller bindings, Files-based ROM selection, local EEPROM saves and selectable rendering scale. Optional camera, HUD, audio and accessibility adjustments are built in.

What you can use today

v0.1.3 publishes only a PadMint recipe and checksums, not an IPA. It improves ROM import; build a personal IPA on an Apple Silicon Mac with full Xcode/Metal tools (about 6 GB free), using your own supported 64 MiB US ROM, then sign it. Reinstall over the app with the same signing account to preserve data. This remains experimental: Simulator gameplay and an M2 iPad Pro launch do not establish sustained hardware play, full-story, audio or progressed-save acceptance. The exact reported file-provider failure and a separate cutscene crash remain open; no project-wide reuse license was verified.
