What it recreates

Reimplements gameplay and rendering in Rust rather than emulating the PS2 or statically recompiling its executable. Original game assets remain separate.

What’s different

Adds native desktop input, up to four local players and experimental up-to-six-player 3v3 networking. v0.1.4-beta fixes controller, league/Be a Legend and ball-spin behavior.

What you can use today

v0.1.4-beta offers Windows installer/archive and a Linux archive. Online play remains a work in progress needing further player testing. Gameplay parity remains incomplete: computer-team behavior, rendering and Gamebreaker camera details can differ. The author’s parity table measures selected behaviors, not a complete-game fidelity percentage.
