File requirements

Supply your own legally obtained Xbox 360 Forza Motorsport 4 Disc 1 version 1.0: PAL media ID 61D62D9F or USA 26FF1101, title ID 4D530910. Disc 1 Rev 1/1.1 is unsupported. Your own Disc 2 and DLC are optional and need around 5 GB extra space. The launcher builds the game locally; RemakeList supplies no game data.

What it recreates

Uses ShiftGlue to translate the Xbox 360 PowerPC program into C++ and compile it locally for x86-64. It extends Pinyon Shift’s native Vulkan renderer for FM4 and remains a separate project from other FM4 ports.

What’s different

Adds higher render resolutions, keyboard controls, an in-game graphics page and display-paced frame-rate settings. v0.3.0 adds DLSS, FSR 2 and FSR 3 using FM4-specific camera and motion data; performance depends on hardware.

What you can use today

Experimental v0.3.0 provides a free Windows launcher that builds the game from your own supported Disc 1 ISO or GOD data. Requires Windows 10 version 2004+ x64, a current Vulkan driver, initial internet access and roughly 10 GB of space. Setup downloads Microsoft build components after you accept their licenses; no prebuilt game is supplied. Only PAL/USA retail Disc 1 version 1.0 is supported; Rev 1/1.1 is not. Linux and racing-wheel support are planned, while Xbox LIVE and Kinect are unsupported. Upscaler shimmer remains a known issue. RemakeList has not installed or played it.
