File requirements
Supply your own F-Zero X USA revision 0 cartridge dump, convert it on a computer to the two .o2r archives, and use your own console DSP firmware dump for audio. EK needs the supported retail Japanese 64DD dump; fan-translated disks are unsupported. No ROM, disk or pre-converted game assets are supplied.

What it recreates
Ports the community F-Zero X decompilation through G-Diffuser to a 3DS renderer and audio system. This is an unofficial Nintendo fan project, not a commercial remake.
What’s different
Adds bottom-screen settings and race information, stereoscopic depth, remappable controls, nearby/online multiplayer and experimental true widescreen. Optional Expansion Kit builds use your own Japanese 64DD disk.
What you can use today
v1.1.0 provides separate Old/New 3DS ZIPs, .3dsx and .cia files, plus optional EK builds and desktop asset extractors. Prepare the assets on a computer first; the extractor script requires a local source copy with the decomp submodule. v1.0.0 downloads were withdrawn. Use the build matching the console. Widescreen and the new track buffer were tested only in an emulator; multiplayer has not been tested on every console pairing. Old 3DS 3D multiplayer is capped at 30 fps, and its EK build has stutter, broken-up music and slow editors. Memory and audio issues remain; 60 fps is not guaranteed. The hosted online server is temporary.
