What it recreates

Reimplements Microsoft Excel-style worksheets, formulas, tables, charts and pivot-table workflows in an open-source application.

What’s different

XLSX as the native format, a Rust calculation engine and script/MCP editing interfaces.

What you can use today

v0.13.0 provides desktop installers/archives and a web build. Improves formula edge cases, preserves worksheet identifiers on XLSX rewrites and can open saved workbooks without recalculating. Alpha: core spreadsheet workflows can be tried; real-world XLSX fidelity, large-workbook performance, chart depth and legacy-format import still need work. Not installed or fully tested here.
