File requirements
ScummVM itself includes no games. Most commercial titles require your own supported game data. The official Freeware Games page separately offers complete free releases, including Beneath a Steel Sky; these are different from the limited demos on the Demos page. Extract the selected game into a folder and add that folder in the launcher. Each game keeps its own distribution terms.

What it recreates
Replaces supported games’ original executables while reading their data. It is a collection of game-engine implementations, not a remake of one game or a bundle of commercial titles.
What’s different
Provides a shared launcher and platform ports for many adventure games, text adventures and RPGs. Check the compatibility entry for the exact game edition and language.
What you can use today
Stable 2026.4.0 has Windows, macOS and Linux downloads. On 19 October 2026, the official page still lists Android and iOS builds as 2026.3.0 under older versions. No game was run by RemakeList.
