File requirements
Requires your own Switch base game, v1.4.3 update in .nsz format and matching prod.keys, dumped from your own console. Only v1.4.3 is supported. Prepare an Apple silicon Mac with full Xcode, command line tools, Homebrew and about 60 GB free. iPhone/iPad installation also needs iOS/iPadOS 26+, developer signing, Developer Mode, USB and about 25 GB free on the device. The repository and this listing provide no game files, keys, signed apps or derived shader packages. Code licensing does not grant rights to Nintendo game content.

What it recreates
Runs the Switch game’s ARM64 code on Apple chips, reimplements system services and translates NVN graphics to Metal. JZen credits joe jiang (@happyjoejiang)’s d2r-mobile as its foundation; this is separate from @liyong2077’s Mac research report.
What’s different
The Mac build offers keyboard and Xbox controller input with rumble, 30/60/90 FPS targets, resolution options and MetalFX. Those are settings, not a promise that every scene reaches the selected frame rate. This is an unofficial compatibility project, without Nintendo authorization or endorsement.
What you can use today
Experimental source build; no formal Releases. The author reports loading saves and playing scenes on Apple silicon Mac, but has not validated a full playthrough. M1-or-newer iPads run well below 60 FPS at original resolution; controller support is not fully verified. iPhone 15 Pro is verified only through installation, resource transfer and a warm launch to the title screen: gameplay, frame rate, memory and thermals are unmeasured. Other iPhones, including iPhone 13 Pro, are untested. New scenes may stutter while shaders compile.
